Our one-day excursion to the South Valley of Cusco is an experience you won’t want to miss, lasting approximately five hours. On this tour, you’ll explore the southern part of Cusco, home to citadels such as Tipón and Pikillaqta.
Our transportation will pick you up from your hotel at approximately 8:00 AM. Accompanied by our guide, we will embark on a 40-minute journey southwest to Tipón, known for its agricultural terraces, irrigation systems, and Inca architecture, which form part of the Qhapac Ñan route.
Next, we will head to Pikillaqta, considered one of the most famous and well-preserved Pre-Inca cities in Peru. Finally, we will conclude the tour with a visit to Andahuaylillas and the Sistine Chapel of America, a Monumental Heritage site known for its impressive works of art.
We’ll return to your hotel in Cusco, concluding the tour at approximately 1:00 PM.
